We all need inspiration and biblical reinforcement in what we do. Whether it's volunteering at our local Church, or becoming a member of the "Knights", we need to be reminded of what the Bible says about serving, charity, and caring for those in need. Our Catholic religion, along with the teachings of the Bible, are the basis of our Council's being. A selection of verses was chosen, in the hope that they might inspire you to join us in our efforts to conduct our lives as Our Lord has intended.

"And now I give you a new commandment, love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." (John 13:34)

"And do not forget to do good things and to share with others, for with such sacrifices, God is pleased." (Hebrews 13:16)

"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith, but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes or daily food. If one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm and well fed", but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:14-17)

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)

"God is not unjust. He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him, as you have helped His people and continue to help them." (Hebrews 6:10)
